    Nagarkurnool Collector Visits School to Inspect Midday Meals

    Nagarkurnool District Collector Badavath Santosh visited the Zajala Upper Primary School in Vanguru Mandal to evaluate the quality of the midday meal provided to students. During his visit, he joined the students for lunch to personally assess the food.

    The Collector stressed the importance of ensuring good health and education for students in government schools. He instructed officials to address any shortcomings in school facilities and meal quality without delay.

    During the inspection, the Collector carefully examined the school facilities, the student menu, the kitchen’s cleanliness, as well as the vegetables, rice, and food prepared for the students. He emphasized that the daily menu must be followed strictly and food quality should be maintained at all times. He also directed staff to regularly gather feedback from students regarding the meals and ensure that cooking processes run smoothly without any issues.

    Collector Santosh also reviewed the attendance of teachers and issued a warning that surprise inspections would be conducted frequently. He stated that any negligence in implementing guidelines would lead to strict action. Additionally, he instructed schools to keep the premises clean and educate students about personal hygiene.

    He reiterated that students should be provided with all necessary facilities without any compromises to their well-being or education.

    The visit was attended by mandal-level officials, school teachers, and other stakeholders, who assured their cooperation in implementing the directives.
