A cold wave has taken hold of the Telugu states, with temperatures falling to their lowest levels of the season. The chill has intensified in agency areas, where dense fog is making the cold even more biting. This fog is also affecting visibility and causing disruptions to daily activities. Early mornings and late evenings are particularly cold, forcing residents to rely on warm clothing and heating appliances to stay comfortable.

According to the meteorological department, the temperature drop is due to cold winds blowing in from northern India. Experts predict that these weather conditions will continue for the next few days. Authorities have urged people, especially children and the elderly, to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the cold.
