    Coinbase Advanced, the cryptocurrency exchange’s platform for professional traders, experienced a significant increase in users and trading volumes in 2024. The platform saw a 191% rise in trading volumes, which was mainly driven by the growth in derivatives trading. Additionally, there was a 77% increase in the number of users on the platform.

    Coinbase Advanced is known for offering experienced traders a flat monthly fee, allowing them to enjoy lower trading costs, more order options, and access to analytics tools. The platform’s derivatives products experienced rapid growth, with trading volumes increasing by around 10,950% in 2024.

    In 2022, Coinbase launched its derivatives platform in the United States, making cryptocurrency futures, including nano Bitcoin and nano Ether contracts, available to millions of users.
