    A weather system is forming over North Andhra and the Bay of Bengal. This system is expected to become a low-pressure area by Thursday, which could bring heavy rains to parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

    The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted extremely heavy rainfall in some areas of North and South Coastal Andhra over the next 24 hours.

    An Orange Alert has been issued for the districts of Palnadu, Eluru, and NTR, warning of very heavy rainfall. Additionally, a Yellow Alert has been issued for Alluri Sitarama Raju, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, and Krishna districts, indicating the possibility of heavy rains.

    Winds along the coast are expected to blow at speeds of 35 to 45 km/h, making the sea rough. Fishermen in the North Andhra coastal region are advised not to go out to sea because of the dangerous conditions.

    In the last 24 hours, several districts in the state have already experienced moderate rainfall. Kaikaluru received 6 cm of rain, while Vijayawada recorded 4 cm.
