During his stay in Delhi, the Chief Minister will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with him, Minister Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, DGP Jithender, and other officials from the Chief Minister’s Office will attend the meeting. After meeting the Prime Minister, Revanth Reddy will hold discussions with the Congress high command to finalize the names of candidates for the MLC polls. The tenure of five current MLCs—Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Satyavati Rathod, Seri Subhash Reddy, Mallesham Yagi, and Mirza Riazul Hasan Effendi—will end on March 29, making way for new members. Meanwhile, intense competition has begun within the Congress, with nearly 20 aspirants seeking a spot in the elections.
