In Hyderabad, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy stated that the RSS and BJP plan to eliminate reservations by 2025 in order to unite all Hindus under one umbrella. He mentioned that the Congress party is strongly against this decision and predicts winning 100 seats in South India without providing further details.
Revanth criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for remaining silent on the issue of reservations, accusing them of lacking the courage to deny doing away with Muslim reservations. He also condemned KCR, the BRS chief, for not learning from the party’s defeat and for allegedly planning to bring down the Congress government with BJP’s help after the Lok Sabha elections.
Recalling KCR’s previous statement about the need for a new constitution, Revanth suggested that KCR was echoing BJP’s views at that time. He questioned why KCR had not taken action against Medchal MLA Malla Reddy for supporting Etela Rajender, insinuating a collusion between BRS and BJP.
Revanth highlighted a decrease in meetings held by KTR in Malkajgiri constituency and Etela’s focus on challenging the ruling Congress instead of questioning BRS. He expressed concerns about the connections between BRS and BJP and their potential impact on the political landscape.
