    A Year of Job Creation

Highlighting his government’s achievements, Revanth Reddy announced that 57,946 government jobs had been filled within a year of his administration, a record unmatched by any other state. Despite legal hurdles delaying recruitment, his administration successfully resolved these issues to provide jobs. He also mentioned that the government conducted the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment in just 55 days, filling 11,000 teaching posts to strengthen the education sector.

    Educational Reforms and Challenges

The Chief Minister stressed that education should be seen as an investment rather than an expense. He expressed concern over Telangana’s falling educational rankings, stating that the state was once expected to compete with Kerala but had now slipped to lower ranks.

He questioned why parents still preferred private schools despite the presence of experienced faculty and well-equipped government schools. Acknowledging the decline in government school enrolment, he urged corrective measures to improve educational standards.

To address this, the government plans to build Integrated Residential Schools in every assembly constituency with an investment of ₹11,000 crore. Additionally, to bridge the gap between education and employability, the state has launched the Telangana Young India Skills University to equip students with job-oriented skills.

    Promoting Sports and National Pride

Revanth Reddy also spoke about the importance of sports in nation-building. He expressed disappointment over India’s underperformance at global events like the Olympics and called for better talent identification in schools and colleges. He encouraged teachers to support budding athletes and promised government reforms to improve sports infrastructure and training.

    Leaders and Officials in Attendance

The event was attended by Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Government Advisor K. Keshava Rao, Chief Secretary A. Shanthi Kumari, and other public representatives and officials.

With a strong focus on education and employment, these initiatives by the Telangana government are expected to have a long-term impact on the state’s youth and workforce development.
