Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid tributes to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, on his birth anniversary, which will be observed on Thursday, November 14. He also extended warm greetings to all children on the occasion of National Children’s Day, which is celebrated every year to honor Nehru’s birthday.
The Chief Minister spoke about the government’s efforts to improve the school education system. He explained that they are making changes to support children, who are the future of the nation. CM Revanth Reddy noted that the government is focused on ensuring that poorer and weaker sections of society are not deprived of education by promoting government schools.
He also mentioned that self-help women’s groups have been given the responsibility of providing two sets of uniforms to children in government schools every year. Additionally, the government has already decided to offer free electricity to schools.
The CM highlighted that significant reforms are being made in the education sector to prepare future citizens. These reforms include creating an Education Commission with experts, and handling the transfers, promotions, and appointments of teachers. He emphasized that the government is committed to providing a better future for today’s children.
The CM also pointed out that Integrated Residential Schools have been established in every Assembly constituency to offer quality education to underprivileged students.
