    CM Revanth gives 10-day deadline to finalize sites for YI schools

    CM Revanth Reddy Sets 10-Day Deadline for School Land Selection

    Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has given officials a 10-day deadline to finalize land locations for Young India Integrated Residential Schools. He also asked them to submit a detailed report on land acquisition.

    During a review meeting on Friday, the Chief Minister inquired about the progress of land acquisition and school construction. Officials informed him that the tendering process for schools in Kodangal, Madhira, and Huzur Nagar had been completed. They assured him that construction would begin on March 20.

    Revanth Reddy instructed senior officials to speed up land acquisition and permissions in the remaining constituencies. He emphasized that school locations should be easily accessible to all areas in each constituency. He also directed district collectors to visit the sites personally and carefully select suitable locations.

    The Chief Minister asked Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to review the land acquisition and site selection process every two days. He ordered her to submit a full report within 10 days. In areas where land acquisition is already completed, he urged officials to start construction immediately.

    Additionally, CM Revanth Reddy instructed authorities to prepare plans for constructing teaching and non-teaching buildings at Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Mahila University. He emphasized that the university should meet high standards without compromising on quality.

    The Chief Minister assured that the government is ready to provide enough funds for the university’s development. The new construction will include buildings, laboratories, playgrounds, and other facilities to meet future needs. He also advised officials to preserve historical and ancient buildings on the university campus with help from the Archaeological Department.
