    Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has highlighted the lack of Telugu leaders in national politics. He urged people to support Telugu leaders, regardless of their caste and creed, if they excel in national politics.

    Speaking at the Kamma Global Summit on Saturday, the Chief Minister mentioned that former Chief Minister and movie star NT Rama Rao had a significant impact on national politics by promoting coalition politics. Reddy emphasized that the involvement of Telugu people in national politics could also help in the development of their states.

    Reddy noted that many studied in NTR’s library, which helped them reach high positions. NTR created a leadership brand and provided political opportunities to many individuals. Reddy reminded everyone that protesting is a democratic right and that suppressing citizens’ rights has consequences.

    The Chief Minister explained that the term “Kamma” signifies hard work and immense affection, similar to a mother’s love. He added that Kamma communities are known for their presence in fertile lands and their basic character of working hard and helping others. Reddy expressed his gratitude for the respect and affection shown by the Kamma community towards him.

    Reddy assured that his government would not discriminate against anyone in Telangana. He committed to resolving the land dispute over 5 acres allotted to Kamma Sangam. Additionally, the government is ready to provide funds for building a community center. Reddy appealed to the Kamma community to continue their tradition of helping others.
