The Vitthaleshwar Temple, constructed between 1108-1158 AD, is known for its grandeur. It hosts a major festival on the auspicious day of Ekadashi during the month of Ashad. Local devotees undertake a foot pilgrimage known as ‘Waarkari’. KCR’s visit to this pilgrimage site holds special significance.
After performing special rituals at the temple, KCR will hold meetings with party workers in nearby villages. Local leaders have joined the BJP party. They will also visit the Tuljapur Bhavani Temple, a popular power center, for three hours. The Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers have already reached Pandharpur in large numbers.
The TRS committee is making arrangements in every village. They are planning special arrangements for the event. Behind the scenes, KCR is giving special attention to the constituency. As the region has seen a rise in farmer suicides, the local people are attracted to the welfare schemes of TRS for farmers.
