Rivers, streams, and bends in Telangana are overflowing due to continuous rain, causing floods and submerging many areas. Moranchapalli village in Jayashankar-Bhupalapalli district is now waterlogged. Meanwhile, Chief Minister KCR is reviewing the flood situation at Pragati Bhavan, where the Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari is briefing him.

During the review, the Chief Minister instructed the Chief Secretary to arrange a helicopter for rescuing the people trapped in Moranchapalli. Following the CM’s orders, the Chief Secretary coordinated with the Secunderabad Cantonment military officials. However, due to heavy rains, regular helicopters are not suitable for rescue operations, and the government is discussing with the army for assistance.

Once the military authorities give permission, rescue operations will be conducted using a helicopter. Additionally, NDRP teams have already been deployed to Moranchapalli to assist in rescue efforts.
