The government has announced plans to form a Trust Board for the Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. This board will be similar to the one managing the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The goal is to improve the temple’s management and support its growth. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to take necessary actions to put this plan into place.

During a review meeting, the Chief Minister discussed the temple’s ongoing and future development projects. He also made several recommendations to improve the temple’s administration and facilities for devotees.

    Key Decisions and Recommendations:

    1. Rebranding Yadagirigutta:
The temple will now officially be called “Yadagirigutta” in all records. This name is more familiar to devotees, and it will replace the historical name “Yadadri.”

    2. Goshala (Cow Shelter) Management:
A special plan will be developed to manage the temple’s goshala. Technology will be used to ensure the cows are well cared for and protected.

    3. Accommodation for Devotees:
Devotees will once again be allowed to sleep on the hilltop, as was customary in the past, to fulfill their vows and prayers. Arrangements will be made to accommodate this practice.

    4. Golden Coating of the Temple’s Dome:
The work to gold-plate the temple’s dome (Vimana Gopuram) will be sped up. The goal is to complete this by the time of the Brahmotsavams, the temple’s annual festival.

    5. Land Acquisition for Temple Development:
Funds will be provided to finish acquiring the land needed for the temple’s expansion and development.

    6. Timeline for Proposals:
A detailed report, including all proposals, pending work, and other important matters, will be prepared within a week.

The review meeting was attended by several key government figures such as Ministers Konda Surekha, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, and Ponnam Prabhakar. Also present were Advisor V. Narendra Reddy, MPs, MLAs, and the Chief Secretary, Shanti Kumari, along with other senior officials.

These decisions aim to enhance the temple’s administration, improve services for devotees, and increase the temple’s spiritual and infrastructural significance.
