The Telangana State Drug Control Administration (DCA) raided a clinic in Sai Nagar, North Lalaguda, Tukaramgate. They found that the doctor running the clinic did not have the necessary permissions or a medical license. Drugs worth Rs 1.60 lakh were seized during the raid.

The clinic, called Vayu Clinic in Secunderabad, was allegedly being operated by a quack named P Venkateshwar Reddy. The DCA officials discovered that Reddy was falsely claiming to be an MBBS doctor. Fake doctor stamps and prescription books were also found at the clinic.

A case has been registered against Venkateshwar Reddy with the police. The DCA has lodged a complaint at the Tukaramgate police station regarding the fraudulent activities of the fake doctor.

If the public has any complaints about illegal activities related to medicines, they can contact the Drugs Control Administration, Telangana, on the toll-free number 1800-599-6969. The helpline is open from 10:30 am to 5 pm on all working days.
