Representatives of the Central Union of Telangana Fourth Class Employees in Hyderabad asked the State Pay Revision Commission for a 51% fitment and a minimum salary of Rs 35,000 for class four employees during pay revision. The union leaders presented their proposals to the chairman of the commission, N Shiva Shankar. They emphasized the need for a higher minimum wage due to increasing prices and living costs.

The union leaders highlighted that class four employees have been working in various government departments for 30 years as part-time, daily wagers, and NMRs but were receiving low pay. They also mentioned that they have not received uniforms for 10 years and requested an increase in the number of increments from five to seven. Additionally, they raised concerns about the HRA for staff at the Ranga Reddy district collectorate being only 15% after the location was shifted to Kongarakalan.
