District Collector Jitesh V Patil announced that the 10th class public exams began smoothly on Friday.
He made a surprise visit to exam centers at Little Birds School in Kothagudem Municipality and ZPHS School in KTPS Colony, Palvoncha. During his visit, he checked the facilities provided to students.
The Collector inspected the classrooms, CCTV camera installations, electricity supply, drinking water, toilets, and benches. He also examined the perimeter walls and overall environment of the exam centers.
He instructed officials to keep the examination centers clean and ensure there were no scraps of paper lying around. He emphasized that all necessary facilities should be in place so that students could write their exams without any difficulties.
Patil expressed his hope that students would perform well in their exams without feeling pressured.
On the first day, 12,269 students appeared for the exams across the district, with an attendance rate of 99%. He confirmed that all students reached their exam centers on time and wrote their exams peacefully.
