    A rare Asian farm civet cat was found in the Gangaram forest of Bijinepalli mandal by a passer-by who informed the forest officials. The cat was discovered lying unconscious on a forest path by residents of Bhimudi Thanda. Not recognizing the animal, they contacted the forest officials for help.

    Upon receiving the information, Gangaram Forest Section Officer Chanti and Beat Officer Mohan identified and took custody of the civet cat. The cat was then treated by a veterinary officer who stated that it had been attacked by an unknown animal while fetching water in the forest, resulting in serious injuries.

    Currently, the civet cat is being observed at Mammaipalli nursery near Buddharam, where veterinary doctors have reported its health as stable. Animal lovers are amazed to find such a rare creature in the Gangaram forests.
