Heavy rains continue to batter Hyderabad for the fourth day in a row, causing fear and chaos among the residents. The entire district is experiencing heavy rainfall, and the city has been completely drenched. The continuous rain has also caused a drop in temperature.
As the city continues to be pounded by rain, waterlogging issues are being reported from different areas. In some parts of Rajendranagar, rainwater has entered houses, forcing people to seek safety. Residents are facing difficulties as roads are flooded and traffic jams are occurring all over the city. Traffic police are working hard to regulate the flow of vehicles despite the heavy rain. Nalas, especially in the Old City, are overflowing and causing worry for nearby residents.
The city’s infrastructure seems to be failing, despite promises of development. The famous Hussainsagar Lake is filled with rainwater, causing flooding in basement parking lots of apartments and damage to vehicles. It is hoped that city planners will take immediate action to address these rain-related issues effectively.
