Sudden rains hit Hyderabad city on Thursday, causing the temperature to drop. However, this led to traffic jams in various parts of the city. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has forecasted light to moderate rainfall for the next three days.
In the evening, Hayatnagar received 7mm of rainfall, followed by Chandrayangutta with 6.8mm and Rajendranagar with 5.5mm. Meteorologists attribute the rain to a low-pressure system forming in the Bay of Bengal, which is expected to affect weather conditions throughout the state.
