Warangal West MLA, Naini Rajender Reddy, has made it clear that there will be no more encroachments in the city. He was speaking on Thursday after laying the foundation stone for new road and drainage construction in Gandhi Nagar, Hanumakonda.

Reddy emphasized that the government is committed to ensuring equal development across all divisions of the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), regardless of which political party the local corporators represent.

He also pointed out that since the Congress came to power nine months ago, the city has been free from land encroachments. According to him, during the previous BRS regime, land grabbers were openly taking control of public and private properties.

Reddy further added that many development plans had remained only on paper during the ten years of BRS rule. However, the situation has changed now. He mentioned that he personally worked with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to secure funds for important projects like the construction of a bridge over the Naim Nagar nalah and the development of Kaloji Kalakshetram.
