Citizens in Greater Hyderabad can now report issues like potholes, roadside silt, and streetlight maintenance at their nearest Ward Level Offices. Officials will address these issues within one to two days. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched an initiative called the Citizen’s Charter to bring municipal services closer to citizens. This initiative offers 17 civic services to be provided at Ward Level Offices. The Charter will be implemented in all newly announced Ward Offices and ensures that civic issues and grievances raised by people are addressed within a particular time limit.

The Citizen’s Charter offers specific time frames for each service. Officers like Assistant Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers, and Veterinary Field Assistants will be responsible for adhering to the Citizen’s Charter. Ward Offices will be operational from June 16, and if grievances are not resolved within the prescribed time frame, higher officials will be contacted to address the issues.
