Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar met with BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh to discuss the current situation in Telangana following the Lok Sabha election results. Chugh mentioned that BJP’s vote bank in Telangana increased significantly after winning four Lok Sabha seats, leading to more support for the party in the state.
During their meeting, which lasted over half an hour, both leaders talked about ways to strengthen the BJP in Telangana. Chugh highlighted that BJP’s vote share rose to 35% in the Lok Sabha elections, showing clear support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s welfare and development policies.
Chugh also pointed out that the election results indicated the public’s dissatisfaction with the Congress party, which lost credibility in a short span of five months. He mentioned that the BJP is now in a favorable position in Telangana, with the Congress facing challenges.
