Hyderabad: BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao made his first public appearance after the Assembly elections setback. He met his followers from Chintamadaka village at his farmhouse on Wednesday.
The villagers from Chintamadaka entered the farmhouse chanting slogans in support of KCR. Former ministers Harish Rao and Prashanth Reddy were also present.
Around 600 villagers came in ten buses to show their support. They were initially stopped by police at the farmhouse check post, but KCR allowed them in after learning of their eagerness to meet him.
One villager expressed disappointment about KCR’s defeat in the elections and praised his development works and welfare schemes. Another villager said they would show their strength in the upcoming Lok Sabha election and believed KCR could become Prime Minister.
