A woman in China died during a trapeze performance with her husband. Her husband failed to catch her with his legs and she fell from a height. The woman, named Sun, was taken to the hospital but did not survive. Sun and her husband had been performing together for many years without safety belts. Videos of the incident showed the couple high in the air with the man’s arms wrapped around a material attached to a crane while the woman held onto him. During the performance, the woman lost her grip on her husband’s head and fell. An investigation into the incident is underway.
