Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy urged newly recruited teachers to focus on teaching students English communication skills to help them compete internationally for jobs. He emphasized that English is a valuable language for securing employment opportunities, even though some individuals from Gudiwada and Guntur may criticize his own English proficiency.
The CM spoke at an event where he handed appointment letters to the new Gurukul teachers at LB Stadium. He highlighted the historical significance of the stadium, mentioning how it has been a venue for important events such as the formation of Indiramma Rajyam in December 2023. Reddy also commended the efforts of youth and the unemployed in the fight for Telangana, noting that their sacrifices should not be forgotten.
Reddy emphasized the importance of instilling a sense of social responsibility in employees, urging them to work with a democratic and social spirit. He stressed the role of teachers in shaping students’ futures and criticized previous governments for failing to provide adequate infrastructure for Gurukulams. The CM also announced plans for a model residential school policy, with one model campus to be established in each of the 119 constituencies.
In addition, Reddy criticized the closure of 6,000 schools by the previous government and took aim at BRS leaders for their actions. He emphasized the need to prioritize the well-being and education of youth, rather than neglecting their needs. The CM also mentioned upcoming opportunities for job seekers, including Group-1 posts and a mega DSC with over 11,000 positions.
