    Dussehra (Vijaya Dasami) was celebrated at Pravati Bhavan in Hyderabad. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and his family performed a special puja at Nalla Pochamma Ammavari temple. KCR’s wife, son Minister KT Rama Rao, daughter-in-law Shailima, and grandson Himanshu were also present. The family offered shami puja and priests performed a special puja to ‘Jammi Chettu’. The CM watched Palapitta, which is considered an auspicious sign.

    KCR and his grandson Himanshu participated in a vahana puja and an ayudha puja. Pragati Bhavan personnel and officials received blessings from CM KCR. He greeted everyone and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of Telangana. Priests presented ‘Sharada Navaratrotsava Prasadam’ brought from Sringeri Peetham, Karnataka to the CM couple. Telangana Magazine Editor, A Rammohan Rao presented the temple shield of Shraddha Swaraj Peetham temple, Kashmir to the Chief Minister.
