Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka attended an important event in Wayanad, Kerala, on Wednesday. They were there to support Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the general secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC).

Both the CM and Deputy CM arrived in Wayanad in the afternoon. They participated in the nomination filing program for Priyanka Gandhi, who is running for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat. Before filing her nomination, Priyanka held a large roadshow in Kalpetta as part of her election campaign.

The by-election for the Wayanad seat was called after Rahul Gandhi, who won the Lok Sabha elections from both Wayanad and Rae Bareli earlier this year, decided to give up his seat in Wayanad.
