The PCC vice-president and Telangana activist, Dr. Cheruku Sudhakar, has resigned from the Congress party. He believes that BCs (Backward Classes) have no place in Congress and will be joining BRS (Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) today. The joining ceremony will take place at Telangana Bhavan at 1 pm on Saturday, in the presence of BRS Working President, KTR.

Dr. Cheruku Sudhakar resigned from the party to protest against the behavior of Congress leaders, including PCC president Revanth Reddy, towards BC leaders. He stated on Friday that he is resigning because he believes that a political journey without self-respect is pointless, even if he doesn’t hold any position.

He criticized the Congress party for giving preference to individuals like Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, who have financial support, while demeaning and mistreating BC leaders like Madhu Yashki.

Furthermore, Dr. Cheruku Sudhakar alleged that the Congress party only talks about social justice but fails to implement it. He mentioned that the promises made by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi remain mere words. According to the Udaipur Declaration, the Congress party has deceived BCs by allocating them seats in constituencies where the party historically never received enough votes.
