The Cherlapally railway terminal is almost complete and expected to open in August. Daily passengers and travel association members are urging South Central Railways to extend MMTS services to Cherlapally and arrange for important express trains to stop there.

Some commuters and travel association members have pointed out that Cherlapally lacks good transportation options. They suggest extending MMTS services to Cherlapally from various locations and starting more northbound, southbound, and westbound trains. The Railways and TGSRTC should work together to plan transportation for passengers arriving at different trains.
