VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had a close call with a train on Thursday while inspecting flood-affected areas in Vijayawada.
Naidu was visiting the city after heavy rains had caused widespread waterlogging. During his inspection in Madhuranagar, he and his team walked near a railway track to check a waterlogged stream underneath.
Suddenly, a train approached from the opposite direction. Naidu, along with his officials and security personnel, had to quickly move out of the way to avoid the oncoming train.
Thankfully, everyone was safe, and after the train passed, they continued with their inspection. Naidu has been touring the region for five days to assess the flood damage and help those affected by the severe rains.
