    Chandrababu Naidu assumes duties as CM, approves five files including large-scale DSC for 16,347 positions

    Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu officially started his work at the Andhra Pradesh secretariat in Amaravati. He was accompanied by his wife Bhuvaneswari Naidu, and they entered amidst Veda chants by pundits. Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar, and Senior TDP leaders Achennanidu and Bonda Uma were also present.

    During his first day, the Chief Minister signed several important files. The first file was about a mega DSC to recruit 16,347 teacher posts in different categories. This includes SGT 6,371 posts, PET 132 posts, school assistants 7,725 posts, TGT 1,781 posts, PGT 286 posts, and principals 52 posts. He also signed a file repealing the controversial Land Titling Act, a file increasing pensions to Rs 4,000, another file about reviving Anna canteens, and a fifth file on conducting a skill census for the youth in the State.

    Before starting his work at the secretariat, Naidu arrived at Gannavaram airport from Tirupati. He then visited Sri Durga temple in Vijayawada with his family to offer prayers.
