MANGALAGIRI: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, has given a strict warning to his party leaders. He advised them to avoid making the same mistakes that the YSR Congress Party (YCP) made during their time in power.
While speaking to a group of TDP MLAs, MPs, and MLCs at the party’s central office in Mangalagiri, Chandrababu emphasized that following the same path as the YCP could lead to the same results in future elections. He reminded everyone that the YCP’s poor governance led to their downfall.
Chandrababu stressed the importance of discipline within the TDP. He urged party members to maintain public trust, saying, “Every individual must follow discipline, and we should never give the public a reason to doubt us.” He also highlighted that the work done now would be crucial for success in the next elections.
He pointed out that the YCP had been reduced to just 11 seats because of their governance failures. He warned that if the TDP made similar mistakes, it could push the state into chaos.
The Chief Minister also warned his party leaders that any mistakes by the coalition would reflect directly on him. He made it clear that wrongdoers would not be spared but cautioned against using personal vendettas. He specifically warned against any involvement in the liquor business, stating that such activities would not be tolerated.
Chandrababu also mentioned plans to hold further discussions with party leaders about policies on liquor and sand. He underlined that these policies would play a key role in the party’s future.
Lastly, Chandrababu spoke about the “Super Six” policies introduced by the TDP government. He believed these policies could be a game changer for the state. He encouraged party members to work towards forming an alliance with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to ensure victory in the 2029 elections. He concluded by saying that only by working together as a united team could the TDP meet the expectations of the people.
