The BRS city president, Challa Harishankar, criticized BJP leaders Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Raja Singh for using religion in their political strategies. He believes that the people will not trust them and will defeat them in the upcoming elections. Harishankar expressed his disapproval of Bandi Sanjay’s comments against CM KCR and Minister KTR, emphasizing that CM KCR has been an undefeated leader who made Telangana’s dreams come true. He also mentioned that KTR left a good job to join the movement for Telangana’s realization.
Harishankar pointed out that during the statehood movement, Bandi Sanjay was absent while KTR played a crucial role in transforming Sircilla. He advised Bandi Sanjay to be mindful of his language. In the Karimnagar Parliament Constituency, there are 7 Assembly constituencies, and due to a lack of candidates, the BJP has had to recruit from other parties. The BJP demoted Bandi Sanjay from MP to MLA. Harishankar predicted that in the upcoming elections, the BJP candidates will lose their deposits and the party will have single-digit representation. He also mentioned that 13 BJP corporators are considering leaving the party.
