Ahead of the elections in Telangana, there has been a lot of shifting of loyalties from one political party to another. The ruling BRS party has faced several setbacks as many members have left the party and joined the Congress. In recent news, Buyyani Manohar Reddy, the Joint Ranga Reddy District DCCB chairman, has resigned from the party and joined the Congress. He has already met with Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy and will soon be officially inducted into the party.
A breakfast meeting was held at Manohar Reddy’s residence on Thursday at 9 am. It is reported that Rammohan Reddy, the Vikarabad District Congress President, and former Minister Gaddam Prasad were present at the meeting. It is also rumored that Manohar Reddy, upon joining the Congress, has been offered the Tandoor Assembly ticket.
