    Kailas Sangeet Trust Celebrates Acharya Bimalendu Mukherjee's Birth Centenary

    On Saturday, Kailas Sangeet Trust held a special event called Acharya Devo Bhava at Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium in Hyderabad. The event was organized to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the legendary musician, Acharya Bimalendu Mukherjee.

    The evening began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the auspicious start of the musical program.

    Several well-known artists performed during the concert. These included Kalapini Komakali, who gave a vocal performance, and the flute sisters, Suchismita and Debopriya Chatterjee. Ashutosh Sahay played the sitar, adding to the musical delight.

    They were accompanied by other talented musicians. Ashish Ragwani, Ramendra Solanki, and Thakur Harjit Singh played the tabla, while Upkar Godboley performed on the harmonium. Together, they created a beautiful musical tribute to Acharya Bimalendu Mukherjee.
