The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in Hyderabad has partnered with Blockchain For Impact (BFI) to speed up biomedical research and innovation in India. BFI will provide over $600,000 over 3 years to support collaborative projects at CCMB.
CCMB Director Vinay Nandicoori expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that they will be working on projects with scientific value that can benefit healthcare in India. BFI CEO Gaurav Singh also shared his enthusiasm, saying that the partnership aligns with their goal of advancing research and ensuring benefits reach those in need.
This collaboration falls under the BFI-Biome Virtual Network Programme, which aims to leverage CCMB’s expertise and facilities for interdisciplinary translational research in biomedical science. The hope is that the outcomes of these projects will address healthcare needs in India.
