The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating the murder of former Andhra Pradesh minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. The CBI has asked the Telangana High Court not to give anticipatory bail to Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy so they can interrogate him further. The CBI believes that Avinash Reddy was involved in the murder and destroyed the crime scene with others. The CBI also thinks that Avinash Reddy tried to pass off Vivekananda Reddy’s death as a heart attack. The CBI wants to arrest and interrogate Avinash Reddy to find out more about the murder and the Rs 4 crore allegedly distributed to the assailants.
