Former Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao felicitated former MP and Congress leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy at his camp office in Khammam on Saturday. Srinivas Reddy called on Tummala Nageswara Rao and invited him to join the Congress party. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Srinivas Reddy praised Rao for his commitment and sincerity in whichever party he was in. He also alleged that some forces in the BRS party were trying to remove good and dedicated leaders from the party. Srinivas Reddy said that Tummala worked hard to strengthen the BRS party in Khammam and faced shame and insult like him. He described Tummala as an experienced leader who played a key role in the development of Khammam district.

Srinivas Reddy also expressed confidence that the days of CM KCR were numbered and believed that the Congress party would win in both Khammam and Kothagudem districts in the upcoming elections. Tummala Nageswara Rao mentioned that TPCC president A Revanth Reddy had met him and that Srinivas Reddy had invited him to join the Congress party. However, he stated that a decision would be made after consulting his followers. Tummala thanked Srinivas Reddy for the invitation.

Tummala Nageswara Rao reiterated his commitment to politics, stating that he wanted to complete the Sri Sitarama lift Irrigation project and serve the people of both districts. The news of the meeting between the two leaders attracted hundreds of people to the camp office, eager to know the outcome.
