Leaders Raise Concerns Over Basic Amenities in Jogulamba District
In Jogulamba district headquarters, the leaders of the Aija All-Party Committee met with the District Collector and the District Medical and Health Officer (DM & HO) on Monday. They submitted representations highlighting several pressing local issues.
One of the key concerns raised was the poor condition of the Aija Government Hospital. The leaders pointed out the lack of essential medicines, unreliable electricity, and unsatisfactory sanitation. They also mentioned that there are no basic amenities, such as drinking water, for patients visiting the hospital. They urged authorities to address these shortcomings and improve the hospital’s facilities.
The leaders also brought up issues at the newly constructed Aija bus stand. They noted the absence of drinking water facilities for passengers and called for the construction of proper concrete roads throughout the premises to enhance convenience and safety.
Another major demand was the restoration of Palle Velugu bus services to several villages. They emphasized the importance of these buses in improving rural connectivity and easing transportation challenges for villagers.
The leaders appealed to officials to take swift action to resolve these issues, ensuring better infrastructure and services for the residents of Jogulamba district.
