Gadwal: Call for Unity Through Cultural Program
A unique cultural movement unfolded in Dornala village of Dharur Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal District, on Sunday. The event, led by State Coordinator and United Mahabubnagar District In-Charge Dappu Swamy, aimed to amplify the demand for ABCD categorization. Organized under the guidance of MRPS founder Manda Krishna Madiga, the program encouraged households to join the cause and make their voices heard in Hyderabad.
The event, titled “Lakh Dappus, a Thousand Voices,” used music, dance, and storytelling to shed light on the educational and employment challenges faced due to the lack of categorization. Singer Manasa’s soulful performances mesmerized the audience, while cultural troupes brought the message to life through vibrant acts. The program began with a floral tribute to the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, emphasizing the importance of his teachings.
