The Congress is facing challenges in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as survey reports show that some current candidates may not be able to win their seats. Secunderabad, Medak, and Warangal are among the constituencies with issues. Nominees from these areas are new to the party, causing discomfort among party members.
Kadiyam Kavya, daughter of former Minister Kadiyam Srihari, quickly joined the party but is struggling to gain support from local leaders. In Warangal, where the population is mostly Madigas, she is finding it hard to secure their backing. Secunderabad’s Danam Nagender, supported by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, faces opposition from local party leaders.
Neelam Madhu, who recently switched from BSP to Congress, is also facing challenges in Medak. The party has yet to finalize candidates for Khammam, Karimnagar, and Hyderabad. A fresh survey is being conducted to assess the candidates’ chances of winning.
