The Congress party is set to form the government in the state after winning eight seats in the joint district. There is a discussion within the party about three MLAs from the joint district being included in the cabinet. The composition of the cabinet will be based on the seats won in four districts and social equations.

Sources say that Manthani MLA Sridhar Babu from Peddapalli district is likely to get a cabinet position. He has previous experience as a minister and is considered an experienced leader among the Congress MLAs from Peddapally and Karimnagar districts. Sridhar Babu has held several important positions within the party, including Chairman of the Manifesto Committee and district president of joint Karimnagar.

Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar, who won as an MLA from Husnabad constituency, is expected to be given a ministerial position from the BC category. His strong fight for statehood in Parliament has made party members confident in his abilities as a senior leader.

It is believed that giving Adi Srinivas a cabinet seat from Vemulawada constituency in Sircilla district will strengthen the party’s presence in that district.
