    Hyderabad: The City Police Commissioner C V Anand recently visited the Bibi-ka-Alawa in Dabeerpura. During his visit, he offered ‘Dhatti’ to the Bibi-ka-Alam and reviewed the arrangements for the Bibi-ka-Alam procession. The procession will take place on Saturday and all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure its smooth conduct. Special forces have been deployed in the area and senior officers will be monitoring the procession. The police commissioner requested participants to follow the instructions of the police officials to ensure a peaceful event. Traffic diversions have also been put in place for the procession.

    Accompanying the police commissioner were Additional commissioner (law and order) Vikram Singh Mann, DCP south zone P Sai Chaitanya, and other officers. The procession, which will include an elephant, will take place on the tenth day of Moharram. It will start from Bibi Ka Alawa and end at Chaderghat.
