    The C.C.S. Police in Sangareddy District recently busted a gang involved in looting flats worth crores using fake Aadhaar cards, documents, owners, and family members. District SP Sri Chennuri Rupesh I.P.S. shared details of the operation at a press meet.

    The arrested individuals, Durga Prasad, Subbarao, and Ravi Goud, created fake documents and owners for plots in the Aminpur, Rameswaram Banda area. These plots had been vacant for 20-25 years and were targeted by the gang for illegal activities.

    The gang sold 15 to 20 plots valued at around 15 crores by creating fake owners and Aadhaar cards, as well as fabricating descendants to continue the illegal property sales.

    The District SP emphasized the need for vigilance when buying plots to avoid falling for scams. He also criticized the register office for not verifying document authenticity and called for action against those responsible.

    Inspector Kishore, DCRB Inspector Ramesh, CCS Staff, and other officials discussed the operation and measures to prevent future incidents during the press meet. The district police office is continuing its investigation to bring all individuals involved in the scam to justice.
