The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is planning to start a bus yatra from August 15. The yatra will cover all Assembly constituencies and will be carried out in phases. Initially, 10 senior leaders will participate in the yatra.

This decision was made during a meeting of the TPCC’s political affairs committee, chaired by Manikrao Thakre, the party’s state in charge. During the meeting, Sunil Kanugolu, the party strategist, gave a 30-minute power point presentation on the bus yatra. He discussed the five key issues that the party leaders need to address, including affordable gas cylinders, job creation, farmers’ loan waivers, and housing assistance.

Kanugolu also presented a list of individuals willing to join the party and discussed how their support could benefit the Congress party. The meeting also addressed concerns about potential dissent from long-time party members and discussed matters related to BC declaration and minority declaration.

In the meantime, supporters of senior party leader Ponnam Prabhakar held a protest at Gandhi Bhavan because their leader was not included in any of the committees. Thakre and other leaders reassured Prabhakar that they would resolve this issue soon.
