    Ten people died and three were injured in a car crash on Monday in Mysuru. The car, carrying people from Bellary who were on a tour, collided with a private bus near Kuruburu village on Kollegala main road. The accident occurred while they were returning to Mysuru from Male Madeshwara temple. The District Superintendent of Police Seema Latkar has confirmed the tragedy and stated that the death toll may increase. The police are investigating the incident and will provide complete information once the investigation is complete. The police are trying to find the names of the deceased by tracing their relatives.

    The National Highway Authority is being blamed for not cutting the jungle on the side of the road, obstructing the view of oncoming vehicles, which might have caused the accident. The State Sugarcane Growers Association has asked the government to pay Rs 10 lakh compensation to all the families affected by the accident.

    Another accident occurred near Mysuru, where more than six people died. A case has been registered at T Narasipura police station, and the investigation is ongoing.
