Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at the G7 summit in Hiroshima on Saturday. He called for a food system that focuses on vulnerable people and said we need to stop the mentality of taking too many fertilizers. He also said technology should be used to develop democracy. We need to use natural resources carefully and change the way we focus on consumers. We should focus on helping vulnerable people, especially poor farmers. We need to make sure we have enough fertilizers and reduce wastage of food to help with global food security. The G7 is made up of the US, France, the UK, Italy, Germany, Canada and Japan. India and seven other countries were invited to attend the summit.
