    Special Measures for Industrial Growth in Buggapadu Announced

    Khammam/Sathupalli: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced that special efforts will be made for the industrial development of Buggapadu. He made this statement during the inauguration of the mega food park in Buggapadu village of Sathupalli Mandal on Thursday. The event was attended by Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, District Collector Muzammil Khan, Sathupalli MLA Dr. Matta Ragamayi Dayanand, and other officials.

    At the venue, the Ministers and other dignitaries visited agricultural stalls set up by organizations such as the Telangana Oilseed Producers Cooperative Society Limited, Telangana Agros Rythu Seva Kendra, and the Coconut Development Board.

    Speaking at the event, Minister Sridhar Babu described Khammam district as a vibrant and dynamic region. He mentioned that Sathupalli has a proud history, with former Chief Minister Jalagam Vengal Rao representing the area. He also acknowledged that many development projects, including roads and canals, were completed during Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao’s tenure.

    The Minister further noted that during the tenure of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, land was allocated for the establishment of the mega food park in Buggapadu village. However, he criticized the previous governments for neglecting the food park project.

    Sridhar Babu stated that industries are now being established in the food park, following consultations with aspiring entrepreneurs. He emphasized the government’s commitment to creating employment opportunities in the IT sector, offering a brighter future for local unemployed youth.

    The Minister also directed the District Collector to identify land for a new industrial park in Sathupalli, which will focus on empowering women entrepreneurs. He stressed the need for basic facilities to be provided at the site as soon as possible. Additionally, he highlighted that Khammam already has over 2,300 industries, including granite factories, rice mills, and ginning mills, and he expressed his vision to establish 10,000 MSME industries in the near future.

    Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao pledged to bring more industries to the food park. He assured farmers in the area that they would be provided with better prices for their crops, including guava, coconut, and oil palm.

    The inauguration of the mega food park marks a significant step toward industrial and agricultural development in the region, aiming to benefit both entrepreneurs and farmers.
