In Hyderabad, Senior BRS leader V Srinivas Goud expressed his disappointment with MLAs who are switching parties and urged them not to criticize BRS leadership or party chief K Chandrashekar Rao. He emphasized that these leaders gained prominence in politics because of BRS and KCR, and should not forget their roots.
During a press conference, Srinivas Goud highlighted that the BRS party has a strong foundation and cannot be easily defeated. He mentioned examples of parties like BJP and Congress, which started with few seats but eventually gained power. Srinivas Goud also reminded everyone that the party has a rich history of activism and sacrifice for the cause of Telangana.
Furthermore, he pointed out that it was not just BRS that faced challenges in the recent Lok Sabha elections, as fourteen other parties also did not secure any seats. Srinivas Goud suggested that the Lok Sabha elections were influenced by the question of whether Modi was necessary, and that the upcoming local body elections could yield different results based on different factors.
