Telangana State Planning Board Vice Chairman B Vinod Kumar stated that the state should withdraw from NEET. He suggested that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy should hire a good lawyer to represent the state in the Supreme Court for this purpose.

Vinod Kumar mentioned during a press conference that the sudden cancellation of the NEET PG exam caused significant losses to many individuals. Around 24 lakh candidates from across the country had registered for NEET-UG.

The NEET PG exam was supposed to take place on Sunday but was postponed just ten hours before it was scheduled to begin. Some candidates had even traveled from Dubai to attend the exam. Kumar recommended that the NEET PG exam should have only been postponed if irregularities had occurred during the NEET UG exam.
